Are you ready to embark on an extraordinary artistic adventure?
This workshop is a unique opportunity for those who wish to experience the process of painting and embroidery like real artists. It is an experience of exploring the process of painting and mixed techniques from the perspective of a true artist. It's a one-of-a-kind opportunity for those who are ready to try something exceptional.
The workshop consists of two parts, each lasting approximately 1.5 hours.
In the first part of the workshop, participants will paint the background. It is led by Lucia. Participants will paint the background for their artwork using acrylics on canvas. Lucia will talk about her process and painting style. She will explain some basic concepts of the painting process (composition, perspective, color mixing, using different brush strokes, and other tools). She will offer encouragement and explain that art is a very subjective matter, and there is no right or wrong way to express oneself artistically.
Once participants finish painting the background, there will be a break. During this time, the paint will thoroughly dry, and the background will be ready for work with mixed techniques.
Valeria leads the second part of the workshop. She will explain how she creates her collages, designs, and embroidery. This will be another exciting experience, as some participants may have never touched a needle before! The basic rule also applies here – in the creative expression of our souls, there are no rules.
The stay includes:
- Accommodation for 2 nights in a double room or a single occupancy room with breakfast
- Half-board with a 3-course dinner or buffet (depending on hotel occupancy)
- Weekend workshop including all the materials and an own painting
- Unlimited access to the SPA (daily 11:00-19:00), fitness center, and hotel cinema
- A one-time 20% discount on entry to the Private SPA
- A one-time 20% discount on an aromatherapy bath or facial treatment
The price of the stay starts from 290,00 € per person in a double room. A single room reservation is available for an additional charge. If one of the persons in the double room does not participate in the workshop, please contact the reception for an adjusted offer.

About Valéria Cis
Valeria Cis was born and currently lives in Rosario, Argentina. She graduated from the School of Fine Arts at the National University of Rosario, specializing in painting and engraving. Since 2003, she has been a professor of illustration at the Institute of Visual Communication. Valeria works daily in her studio, La Casuni, in Rosario.
In the field of illustration, she is represented by the MB Artists agency in the United States.
Her career spans both illustration and artistic painting. As a children's book illustrator, she has worked with publishers in Argentina, Chile, Puerto Rico, the United States, Canada, Korea, and Spain.
Her favorite technique is acrylic on paper or canvas. Currently, she is working on a series of large paintings exploring the connection between femininity and botany. Discover the magic of painting with her!
About Lucia Tužinská
Lucia Tužinská was born in Bratislava. Today, she lives with her family in the Podjavorinské Kopanice region of western Slovakia. She studied interpretation and translation at the Faculty of Arts at Comenius University in Bratislava. Alongside translating books and film scripts, she was one of the pioneers of homeschooling in Slovakia and served as the vice-president of the Slovak Homeschooling Association.
From 2005 to 2015, she studied painting under Mgr. art. Sonia Herényiová-Belanová. In 2021, she began to fully dedicate herself to visual art. In 2022, she participated in her first international exhibition, the XXIV edition of the Premio Internationale d'Arte San Crispino. The international jury awarded her a special prize—Premio Speciale Della Giuria. She garnered attention from the art community primarily for her distinctive painting style, which contrasts with the contemporary trend of shocking art. She has had several other successful exhibitions and exhibits her work both in Slovakia and abroad.
She is currently studying art therapy at Terra Therapeutica under Prof. PaedDr. Jaroslava Šicková-Fabrici, PhD.
She explores creativity and the limitless possibilities of human potential. Her mission is to bring joy and healing through her work and to encourage others to pursue their dreams, regardless of circumstances.
