About
It is a main variety from Austria, and was, along with Welschriesling, one of the most widespread varieties in Czechoslovakia. The aroma has a muscat-fruit scent, so the residents of Modra near Bratislava also called it green muscat nut. In the taste, we find bitter almonds at the back of the tongue, which is why we call this wine almond wine. Recommended with white meat.
